• The candidate must hold a Bachelor’s Degree, with at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA [45% in case of the candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST) and Differently Abled (DA) (It may also referred to as Persons with Disability (PWD) category)], awarded by any of the Universities incorporated by an act of the central or state legislature in India or other educational institutions established by an act of Parliament or declared to be deemed as a University under Section 3 of the UGC Act, 1956, or possess an equivalent qualification recognized by the Ministry of HRD, Government of India.
• Candidates completing all requirement for obtaining the Bachelor’s degree by 2015 can also apply subject to furnishing evidence to that effect latest by June 2015.

Admission to PGDHRM of IIM Ranchi will be based on the performance of candidates in the CAT, Personal Interview & Written Ability Test (PI & WAT) and also on their profile. The PI & WAT process will be conducted by IIM Ranchi. The Short listing criteria, weightage for different components and the profile scoring method are given below -

• Initial Short-listing for PI & WAT Process :
  An initial shortlist shall be prepared of candidates who would be eligible for PI & WAT process for admission to the PGDHRM 2015-17 batch of IIM Ranchi. This shortlist will be purely based on CAT performance, work experience and bachelor’s degree and is expected to be announced around second week of February 2015. 75% weightage is given to the CAT score, 15% weightage is given to the discipline at the bachelor’s level and 10% weightage is given to the Work experience. The rating score for Bachelor’s Degree is given in Table 1 and the rating score for Work experience is given in Table 2.

  All candidates applying for PGDHRM program of IIM Ranchi would also have to fill an online profile form in the IIM Ranchi website, which will be used for further evaluation.
• PI & WAT Process :
  Personal interviews and WAT are planned to be conducted at five different centres namely Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore, Kolkata, and Chennai. The exact dates for PI & WAT will be communicated to shortlisted candidates in due course of time.
• Final Admissions 2015 :
  After the PI & WAT, the consolidated merit list (CML) would be compiled on the basis of following components and their corresponding weights :

    20 percent weightage is assigned to the CAT scores of the candidates who are eligible for PI & WAT.

  • Profile
    The candidates would fill an online profile form and also bring a printed copy of the same for verification during personal interview. The profile scoring methodology for IIM Ranchi is given below.
